About Me (Bio): Philip Stirgwolt has participated in designing, testing, manufacturing, assembling & managing product development for several multi-national corporations in three different industries 1) Aerospace jet engines for both military & commercial, 2) Automobile in interiors & airbags and finally in E/E Industry. He is a certified quality auditor from American Society of Quality and has over 15 years of product development process authorship responsibilities implementing the following standards ISO 9001, QS9000, TS 16949, TL 9000, CMMI & IPMA requirements for the last two industries. He currently has the responsibility as the Functional Safety Manager for a leading edge IC hardware product “item” within the context of this new standard.
