I would like to know about the key difference between process override and maintenance override.

For example, one transmitter has some problem and maintenance team wants to work on that transmitter. We will apply MOS using Bypass permit and work on that transmitter. Now, if we consider two cases as mentioned below :

1. If the faulty transmitter is replaced within MTTR then it will come under maintenance override.
2. But if the transmitter is not replaced within MTTR then it will come under process override.

Also here from MTTR i am assuming that time during instrument is not available in the field for detecting hazardous event.
I would like to know if understanding about above cases is correct.
