About Me (Bio): Didier Turcinovic is founder and President of the Safety Users Group, Inc., (an independent professional community with a unique focus: functional safety) which he formed in December 2000. A TÜV Functional Safety Expert in Safety Instrumented Systems, he has been working in industrial safety for over 18 years.
A degree qualified Electrical Engineer, his career in the process industries began in 1985 with Taylor Instruments in France. He soon specialised in safety systems, building over 12 years experience through positions in worldwide technical and customer support at the Triconex headquarters in California, and later as a safety programmable systems Product Manager with ABB in the UK.
