About Me (Bio): With a background of electrical and embedded system engineering Markus Weber specializes in the development and regulatory compliance of critical embedded systems and software. Mr. Weber is the founder and principal consultant of System Safety, Inc. in San Diego, CA , which provides safety engineering services for the medical device and process industries. Mr. Weber is accredited by various regulatory agencies to perform compliance testing and technical audits. He participates in the development of international safety standards and advises major corporations as well as start-up companies on safety and compliance issues.
