Siemens offers Safe Speed Monitoring up to SIL 3 / PL e
The safety standard EN 60204 "Safety of Machinery - Electrical Equipment of Machines" and the respective C standards call for safe speed monitoring for some applications. Therefore, an additional evaluation device is required for converters which do not feature a safe speed monitoring function. The 3TK2810-1 is the first corresponding device for Siemens Industry.
