Job Description

The Inside Functional Safety expert magazine is looking for a Contributing Editor to help us identify and review functional safety articles for the automotive industry. This is a part time and pro-deo position. You will be able to work from any place where you have internet access. You can write your own articles and are asked to review and edit articles for our online and print media.šYou should be a highly motivated, independent individual with a passion and knowledge for functional safety in the automotive business.š

Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses:
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 and other functional safety related standards and guidelines
  • Is well connected in the automotive industry (manufacturers, suppliers alike)
  • Experience as a writer or editor;š
  • Strong writing abilities including grammar knowledge, spelling, punctuation, etc.š
  • Ability to meet deadlines.š
  • Access to timely, accurate information and ability to dig out business stories that are new and fresh.š
  • The understanding of the technical audience and their needs
  • Technically savvy; able to learn and utilize web/publishing tools; high-speed Internet connection to efficiently move information and layouts across the Internet.š
  • Photography experience helpful.
