Job Description Position Description: Selected candidates will: coordinate and direct major engineering studies, and technical services within all of the recognized loss prevention engineering fields; develop loss control methods, procedures, programs and mechanisms to eliminate or reduce loss; identify high-loss potentials, designs control programs, communicates elements of the program to the users, and measure the effectiveness of control programs through statistical evaluation. 
Job Qualifications Selection Criteria: A BS degree in Safety/Fire Engineering or one of the Science or Engineering fields and a minimum experience 10 years for GC 14, in petrochemical or ancillary industries in the field of loss prevention engineering. This experience should include areas such as: accident prevention, traffic control, fire prevention, health physics, hazardous materials, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, process safety or accident investigation. Proven ability to communicate, in technical English. Must be able to produce clear, concise oral and written reports in English. Certifications, such as Professional Engineer, Certified Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager or Hazard Control Manager, are desirable. 

Comments: Loss Prevention Department provides technical and policy advice, oversight and support to Saudi Aramco operating organizations on implementing and improving effective loss control programs. Positions are open in all its divisions. Area Loss Prevention Division directs the development of Loss Prevention policies and programs in the respective Area.
